My name is Bombi!

I made Bombi this t-shirt. Too cold to go out, so thought I'd stay in and get crafty with some felt from Peckham:

Mum and Bombi's first day out!

I took Bombi out today for our first daytrip without Dad. We popped in to the Therapy Rooms to see Francine and all the girls from yoga class. Everyone still thinks Bombi is a boy when she's in her blue fleece suit, despite the fact I'd put her in a pink babygro underneath. Annoying!

Then we popped over to JoJoMamanBebeRidiculousBabyShopName on Lordship Lane to spend the gift vouchers from Guy. I bought Bomba a sleepsuit and some cashmere leggings - posh!!

I had planned on going home, but as I had to walk to the bus stop on Goose Green, I saw a bus coming that was heading to Peckham and thought I'd mosey on over there to stop off at Mothercare and spend the gift vouchers from Aunty Rani and Uncle David in Scotland. Bomba was being super well-behaved and enjoying a snooze in the midday sun so I went to Mothercare and bought some cute stuff from the Baby K range by Myleene Klass. I don't really like to support celebrity clothing ranges, but the clothes are really nice - and lots of grey, mum's favourite colour!

No pictures of our little daytrip as I was juggling shopping bags in one hand and Bomba in the other - I must get a baby sling!

Good vibrations!

Bombi had her first bath on her own today. She loved it until she swallowed a tiny bit of water and flipped out!

Bombi watching some Lucha Britannia promo movies that Dad edited, plus listening to Magazine's entire back catalogue. I'm not sure she was that impressed by either!

Loz came over yesterday to take some photos of the three of us - I'll post these online as soon as I have them. We dressed Bombi up in her lovely Pumpkin Patch pinafore dress from Godmother Denise. See pics above for her in her party dress!

Today we went to the caff (again). We had planned a little afternoon shopping trip in Peckham to pick up chilli sauce and garlic flakes from Mr Khan's but it was drizzling and Lolly is very tired from waking up at 6am to feed Bombi then not managing to nod off again. At least I got lots of piano practice done for the Marie Antoinette party tomorrow at Crumpled Dog in Shoreditch whilst Bombi was asleep this morning.

Bombi was having a crying fit, so I stuck her in her vibrating chair which seems to have done the trick - for the time being. Am hoping she will nod off soon so I can get into bed and watch some more of The Apprentice with Donald Trump!

Bombi's bigger day out

We took Iris to Crossroads caff yesterday morning as mum and dad were in need of a stodgy fry-up. Bombi then made a quick visit to Ros at Review Bookshop, and Clare at Fenton Walsh on Bellenden Road.

Afterwards, grandma came for a visit which was lovely. As always, she brought us tasty treats and gifts from Aunty Pat in France (a snuggly gro-bag) and my gold baby bangles for Bombi to wear.

Louie babysat whilst Lol went out to the Funky Monkey keyboard class, a new class that I'll be teaching from 5th of November onwards.

Later that evening, we went to the Sassoon Gallery to see Molly's exhibition which was lovely and Bombi was very well behaved and got to meet Uncle Steve Mac.

Today, Vanessa the midwife is coming to see Bombi. Louie is working at the Bizarre Ball, so hopefully mum will have some visitors to keep her company tonight. And big sister Laurie and Georgia are coming to visit this weekend.

Mum is trying to do some birth announcement cards today, although having a bit of an Illustrator problem, so hopefully can find someone to help out with that so the cards can be printed and sent out.

Bombi's new nicknames: Bambalapitiya (a place in Sri Lanka) and wambatu (Sinhalese for aubergine).
