Godmother Niki, Godsister Lucia and little bro Jamie come to visit
Another lazy day - very hot today, so we went for lunch at the Plough. Maxime, Laura and Anais also came. It's Lucia's 7th birthday, so she came over to visit and pick up her birthday pressies. She also brought me some lovely flowers and fruit that her and Jamie had been picking at a farm in Enfield - yummy strawberries and blackberries. Bombi covered herself in strawberries (of course!).
Here's the gorgeous birthday girl Lucia:

Afterwards, we went home for some pondwatching and cooling off under the sprinkler!

Coram's Fields with Annie and Lola
Annie and I went to Coram's Fields in Bloomsbury with Bombi and Lola. We took them in our Ergo slings on a couple of busses up to Russell Square. The girls loved playing in the sandpit, looking at the goats, and playing on the adventure squishy things, ball park and tunnels!
Here's Bombi practicing some juggling:
Goat-watching:
Afterwards, we popped into Liberation in Covent Garden to say hello to Fairy Godfather Hodgie, then we went next door for delicious sushi at Kulu Kulu. The girls tucked into rice, melon and avocado. Here's Bombi trying out her chopsticks!

Mamaheaven in Hereford, August 2009
I took Bombi to a Mamaheaven mother and baby yoga retreat in Hereford for three days. Here we are stopping off in Newport - we've never been to Wales before!
We travelled up on the train with Tabassum and Moji, arriving in time to look around the beautiful Elizabethan and Medieval timber buildings.
We met all the other mums and babies as well as all the wonderful Mamaheaven girls. Later that night, Daphne from Penrhos cooked us the most amazing food from her GreenCuisine kitchen. The babies were fed the delicious, healthy food and they all really loved it. I know Bombi is an adventurous eater, but I was really pleased that she hungrily wolfed down all the delicious treats that Daphne made: Nettle puree, carrot and spirulina puree, beetroot puree, oatcakes, seaweed, polenta sticks, raw cookies and hemp smoothies just to name a few things that Bombi tried.
Here's Teddy tucking into an unidientified tasty object:Here's one of Erika Tourell's yoga sessions:
