Oscar's first birthday party

Bombi had lots of fun playing with Oscar, Otto, Elliott and lots of other new chums at Oscar's 1st birthday party at the Cat & Mutton in Hackney. Mummy and Daddy enjoyed scoffing the yummy food, particularly Oscar's special Danish/Aussie birthday cake!

Bombi in Glasgow

I took Bombi up to Scotland to meet Marion, Steve, Ferdy and Felix in Glasgow. Bombi loved hanging out with her new boy chums and had lots of fun, including a toy helicopter stuck in her hair which I had to chop out, lots of visits to Glasgow's fab (and free) museums, a slightly unsuccessful swimming trip and lots more. Busy weekend for Bombi

This weekend, we went to Harry's 1st birthday party, we went to visit Kasia, Alf, Alexander and Ivor, I practiced my driving in the Land Rover AND I checked out the MuTATE Mutoid Waste exhibition in Portobello. Busy weekend for me!

Bombi is 1 Very Hungry Caterpillar - our little angel is 1 year old!

Bombi had a Very Hungry Caterpillar themed 1st birthday party in East Dulwich. Aunty Joe did a fantastic Rucksack Music session, Aunty Hilary did a Caterpillar story and songtime, big sister Laurie did some amazing facepainting and daddy did lots of balloon modelling. Grandma and Granddad made my cake as well as all the tasty food!

Bombi in Seattle - edited highlights

We have so many fantastic photos (and memories!) from Seattle. A few are below, and you can see the rest here.

We spent 2 weeks with our wonderful hosts Natalie, Eitan and puppy Angel and kitty Diva. We went to the beach, bike-riding (including a fractured knee for Lou), up to the top of the Needle, to the Hendrix Museum, the Aquarium, lots of shopping, lots of scoffing (yummy Mexican food at Oaxaca and sushi were top of my list) and just hanging out and catching up with our buddies from London.

Bombi is a seasoned traveller by now, so managed to snooze both ways on the flight, although she did struggle a wee bit with the jetlag but we can't complain, she's such an easy baby to sling in the backpack and take globe trotting!
